St George's Lullaby - Throwback recital piece!

A performance at St Georges Church, Beckenham, Lunchtime recital series. The recital from which this performance came was entitled, "English Piano Music With An American Appearance". Tanners' composition was written at the time of the newborn Prince George in Great Britain (2013). Tanners lullaby here is a delightful and heart warming composition. The searing melody and minimal left hand accompaniment gives the sense of a baby rocking in their cot at night, whilst the mother hums a melancholic tune - perhaps from her childhood. This piece is sure to send you into a state of sleepiness - give in to it! I do hope that you enjoy my performance of Mark Tanners superb composition! Enjoy!
