Mark utilises a holistic approach to teaching where physical and mental technique, combined with passion and love for music are at the forefront of each lesson. Mark ensures that students are exposed to all major elements of music learning - aural, improvisation, sight reading skills, music appreciation and perofrmance.
Types of Teaching
Mark teaches KS1 and KS2 music curriculum and music technology classes. Additional whole class teaching includes Djembe drumming and singing. Mark teaches 1:1 piano in secondary school settings - preparing students for their GCSE and A Level performance exams. Furthermore, Mark is an online music and theology tutor on Udemy with his course, 'Worship essentials' (published in 2020).
