Music Director
Mark is Music and Worship coordinator at Battersea Fields Parish (Diocese of Southwark). Mark has over 10 years experience of being involved as an instrumentalist and worship leader within a wide range of Christian denominations - reformed evangelical, anglican, catholic and assemblies of God.

My Story
I have always loved music and Christian theology. It is a joy and privilege to work for a central London group of churches - St Georges and St Saviours, Battersea. I play the piano and sing a combination of hymns and contemporary worship. It is my mission to build up a larger group of musicians and worshippers to enhance the musical, worship experience of these two churches. In addition to this, I am leading two community music projects - A children's Djembe drumming choir and an adult Christmas pop up choir. Other activities include leading singing assemblies and some piano teaching within the Parish School - St Georges, Church of England, Primary school. At the core of my role is that of forging relationship - between church and local community, between God and man in the contemplative and celebrative act of singing praise in collective worship.
